If Nepali children enjoy the privilege to be able to go to school, they often have a difficult and dangerous (especially for girls) path to overcome. In particular, this is the case when they have to travel from remote villages many kilometers through a mountainous landscape. Until today, approximately 15,000 Nepalese girls and women are kidnapped and brougth into Indian brothels every year. There they are put on drugs, tortured and raped. Many of them come from rural areas and are kidnapped on their long and sometimes difficult way to school.
