We are proud, together with Menuka Thapa, we have built a solid base for the children of Raksha Nepal in Kathmandu in the last five years. In the Center live girls who are affected by sexual violence and exploitation. The work has also been well received in the national and international public: Local media have regularly reported on Raksha, Menuka Thapa gave lectures and new sponsors for the children could be found. Carola Gosch will continue to be a “granny” for the children and will visit regularly. Roots for Life will continue to provide psychological care for the girls. We wish Raksha Nepal success on their way and are proud of the challenges that have been mastered together, of help for self-help. Sexual violence and exploitation are a major problem in Nepal. Now we continue to strengthen women in rural areas with our projects. In this way, we hope to contribute to the decline of victims in the future.
