Six months after our visit to the village Bhainsepati we went back to see what happened in that time. The people used the tins together with old material to put up a shelter for every family. The spaces for houses were prepared, the stones were stacked. Nobody has built anything yet, because there is a rumor going around that whoever builds will never get any support from the government. Not even the money for warm clothing and blankets has been distributed yet.
Menuka Thapa and Kusang Tamang accompanied me again. Together with the speakers of the village we calculated the need, and bought food, blankets, water containers and wire for 30 families who’s houses have been destroyed completely.
We also had a lot of fun and hope that all families will have a beautiful home again very soon.
Thanks to all who are supporting us!
