The employees of the Opportunity Village Nepal visit the participants of the mentoring program even at home to get information about their socio-economic and health situation. They found out that the young women have considerable problems even receiving even a meal a day. In addition, in most cases the family is not very supportive: they often did not know what their daughters do during the day or where they work. In order to counter this, the organisation invites parents or legal guardians to talks again and again. In these conversations they are taught the importance of training for their daughters and the importance of support from parents. They are also informed about the OVN programme and the annual plan.
