United Nations Human Trafficking Day

print
Our partner, the Opportunity Village Nepal (OVN) in Pokhara is always confronted with the problem. Particularly critical is the trafficking of human beings to India. This border is a “green”, so to speak open border.

At schools or public places the OVN shows by informative role plays and posters, how such a kidnapping can take place. The differences between “good” work abroad and kidnapping are also illustrated and explained: e.g. the agent must be registered, the conditions must be clear and the contracts must contain essential elements.
