For the first girls

…at Raksha Nepal in 2012, Carola Gosch privately supported the continuation of school attendance. Since 2013, the ScholarshipProgramme has been a central theme of the Roots for Life association, in which more and more girls are receiving individual support. At the moment we already care for more than 50 children in their families to protect them from child marriages and human trafficking. But not only the school fees and exercise books are important for learning success. Those who want to write good grades also need a comfortable mattress of their own, a new pair of shoes and the parents’ understanding of the importance of education.

The course of the individual scholarship programme over the last 3 years can now be read for the first time in a new report.

Thanks to Michele Gapp for the great design and Sunny Thapa and Tomas Martinez for the photos!

So that we can continue and even expand our program, we urgently need godmothers and godfathers. Why not taking over godparenthood yourself? If you are interested, just send an email to
